Thousands of campaigns, skins, and weapons to be added
You have to love Valve. Not only does it empower customers with the tools to create unique content for its games, but the company also gives them an easily accessible means in which to share that content with others!
True to form, Valve has taken the Left 4 Dead 2 Workshop out of beta and is ready to share some lovely user-created content with its zombie-loving community; just like any good and decent plague carrier should. So far, the current item count is steadily approaching the 300 mark, but Valve has confirmed that players should see this number hit the thousands in just a matter of weeks.
Adding this new content to your game is as simple launching your Steam client, going to the Workshop section, and hitting the “Subscribe” button on the item’s description page. If you were looking to add in your own content to the service, Valve has posted a brief explanation on the process as well as some helpful tips. I can’t wait to take on the unending horror of the zombie masses in the fabled lands of Middle-Earth.
