How to get ‘the older the better’ videotape for Nostalgic Girl, Zenless Zone Zero inquiry guide

You know, I'm a bit of a cinephile myself.

As Wise and Belle continue to grow their video store’s popularity in Zenless Zone Zero, many NPCs will eventually stop by, each asking for a specific recommendation. One such NPC is Nostalgic Girl, who will ask for a “the Older, the better” videotape featuring a glimpse of the world during her grandfather’s youth.

To fulfill her request and steadily build your reputation, here’s how to complete Nostalgic Girl’s the older, the better inquiry in Zenless Zone Zero.

Find a videotape for Nostalgic Girl, the older, the better, in ZZZ

After meeting her at the Random Play counter, you can successfully complete Nostalgic Girl’s The Older The Better videotape inquiry in Zenless Zone Zero by recommending Return to Giallo City. You can get the Return to Giallo City videotape as part of the rewards by reaching Video Store Level 6. Reaching the level will also reward you with the Raiders of the Hollow, More Than One Truth, Black LP Player, and Final Punch level 3 videotapes.

How to Reach Video Store Level 6

After completing the game’s first chapter (Cat’s Lost and Found) and reaching Inter-Knot level 40, you will be able to ascend the video store to level 6 in ZZZ by completing the Business Performance: Trendsetting Store mission. Like most video store ones, you will be able to trigger and complete the quest by simply talking to Heddy at Random Play after completing the previous requirements.

If, even after completing all of the requirements, the quest does not unlock for you, then I recommend completing the Black Dance Shoes city commission, which according to a large portion of the community fixes the problem. You can trigger the commission by talking to an NPC called Anna within the video store.

Now that you know how to successfully complete Nostalgic Girl’s inquiry in Zenless Zone Zero, don’t forget to also check out how to unlock all of the game’s trophies so that you can both add another platinum to your collection and get a pretty handy amount of Polychromes.
