Nintendo has been very silent on details about the NX, the Wii U port’s release date of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and the upcoming Zelda amiibo line. No one is certain if both the Wii U and NX versions of the game will release at the same time or if we’ll even be playing the newest Zelda adventure before the summer of next year.

Nintendo of France’s website seems to have made a slip-up. Under the amiibo section of its homepage, the Breath of the Wild amiibos were listed as having a release date of March 4, 2017. Historically speaking, Nintendo has never released an amiibo before the game it functions with, so perhaps the Wii U port of Breath of the Wild will be targeting a spring release.

This could also be a placeholder date meant to fill in data on the website. That seems unlikely as other amiibo (namely Cloud, Corrin and Bayonetta) were listed as “Coming Soon.” The website has also now removed that information, instead listing simply “2017” as the date.

We do get a confirmation of the other Zelda amiibo as releasing in December. That is awesome. I’m not exactly sold on them, but those Wind Waker amiibo make me happy.
