[Update: My mistake, I read the date wrong in the press release. Double Dragon: Neon is actually coming out in September. Far better timing than the blockbuster month of November, with the exception of Borderlands 2 and Kirby’s Dream Collection’s release the following week.]

Why? Because it’s coming out the same week as Call of Duty: Black Ops II. It’s going to be hard for anything to get any sort of attention that week really. Nevermind that it’s also sandwiched between the releases of Halo 4, Hitman: Absolution, and Epic Mickey 2. Plus there’s the high probability that the Wii U will be out around the same time period. Yikes.

But hey, for those of you that do want to get that nostalgia fix, Double Dragon: Neon will cost you $9.99 and will be out on November September 11 for the PlayStation Network, and November 12 for Xbox Live Arcade.
