100 courics is the current world record
Goin’ down to South Park this October should be an easy trip to make. The show that’s known for its weeble-wobble animation was probably never going to be especially tasking on PCs. Now we have confirmation of that.
Ubisoft has released the minimum and recommended PC specs for South Park: The Fractured but Whole. As suspected, getting the thing to run shouldn’t be much of a problem for most people. Here are the required specs to have a baseline experience with The Fractured but Whole (at 720p, around 60 frames per second, video preset low, and V-Sync off):
- OS: Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64-bit versions only)
- Processor: Intel Core i5 2400, AMD FX 4320 or equivalent
- Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560Ti, GTX 650, GTX 750, GTX 950, GTX 1050; AMD Radeon HD 7850, R9 270, R9 370, RX 460 (all of them with 2GB VRAM or more)
- Memory: 6 GB
It probably won’t make a ton of difference, but here’s what’s needed for the ideal experience (at 1080p, around 60 frames per second, video preset high, and V-Sync off):
- OS: Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64-bit versions only)
- Processor: Intel Core i5-4690K, AMD FX-8350 or equivalent
- Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670, GTX 750ti, GTX 960, GTX 1060; AMD Radeon R9 280X, R9 380, RX 470 (all of them with 2GB VRAM or more)
- Memory: 8GB
As we learned at E3, South Park: The Fractured but Whole is willing to go pretty much anywhere in the name of over-the-top distaste. That’s exactly what South Park fans want to see. And now we’re assured that most anyone can partake in the spectacle.
