As many of you already know, a healthy portion of the Destructoid clan headed to New York late last year for Blipfest, a celebration of music created with the involvement of various retro consoles. The culture is especially into creating mad and wonderful hybrids of console and music, which explains a lot of what you see here. Chiptune artist 6955 created this Casio keyboard with a Famicom cartridge slot, which is not only fully functional, but may result in the creator selling a kit to make your own in the future.
If you’re wondering what all this Blipfest business is about (or you want to investigate the cool music with the Famicom sounds,) shoot over to the main site and read up. It’s proper good stuff, yo. Then you can attend it later this year and party with the Robot & Co.
