The trial’s up on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network

Ubisoft has rolled out an extended trial for Ghost Recon Wildlands on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 that you can play alone, with friends, and even with your pals who already own the full version.

With the right group of mischief makers assembled (and PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold for co-op functionality), this could be a fun-enough way to spend several hours. The trial includes “full access” to the open world, according to Ubisoft, and your progress will carry over to the full game.

Considering how ridiculously well Wildlands is selling, they probably didn’t need to do this.
