Have you ever participated in a Steam “free weekend” event?

I tend to tell you lovely people about them when they seem worth highlighting, but I frequently forget to partake. This weekend, there’s a free-play promo for Rainbow Six Siege, a game I will by most accounts enjoy but keep putting off as new patches roll in. I’m down to try it. If you are too, the free weekend is now live and you can continue playing until Sunday, April 17 at 1:00pm Pacific.

Steam is also running a discount on Siege if you’d like to own the game proper: $40.19 for the standard version, and $53.99 for the Gold Edition (which includes the season pass and other perks).
