With all the popularity of Ubisoft’s newly released online shooter XDefiant, a few error codes have started to pop up and have become commonplace throughout its early release. Three of the more common XDefiant error codes are Bravo, Delta, and Foxtrot. Let’s take a look at what causes these error codes and what you can do to make them stop occurring.
What do XDefiant Bravo, Delta, and Foxtrot error codes mean?
The XDefiant Bravo, Delta, and Foxtrot error codes indicate that there’s some sort of connection issue with XDefiant, though as of now it mostly pertains to server issues due to the game being overloaded with players trying to connect and play. Each of these three error codes seem to occur with a number 01-10 following them, though the number doesn’t seem to hold relevance.
In fact, the Bravo, Delta, and Foxtrot error codes themselves seem to all mean the same thing. For example, you can get a Bravo-01 error code, then retry, and immediately after get say, the Foxtrot-05 error code. Despite the difference in error code name and number, the issue is exactly the same: a connection failed.
How to fix Bravo, Delta, and Foxtrot errors in XDefiant
In most instances, the only thing you can do if you receive the Bravo, Delta, or Foxtrot error in XDefiant is to try again. Typically you just were not able to connect to the servers, which at the moment is because they are very congested due to a high player account. You basically have to try again to see if you get lucky and get in, instead of getting the error message.
However, if you continue to receive these error codes after the servers are no longer congested, there are a few connection-related troubleshooting methods you can try. Here are ways you can fix the Bravo, Delta, and Foxtrot error codes in XDefiant:
- Restart your game. Sometimes you will have a version mismatch or simply have an unstable connection when launching. Restarting your game can fix both of these issues.
- Double-check your internet connection. Make sure there is no outage with your ISP, and if you are on a wireless connection, switch to a wired one.
- Verify your game files. It’s possible you have some corrupt data files, which you can fix by heading to the Ubisoft Connect launcher and clicking the three dots on XDefiant and then choosing Verify Files.
