250+ deals on Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows 10 games
Microsoft’s yearly Ultimate Game Sale isn’t here just yet — it’ll run July 5 through July 11 — but I figured a quick heads up might save some of you from buying a game this week only for it to go on sale soon. And, also, I not-so-secretly love having an excuse to sift through Google for funky images.
This year, the sale will include Windows 10 games as well as Xbox One titles (and console bundles), with discounts ranging from 40 to 60 percent off or slightly more if you have an Xbox Live Gold sub.
Microsoft has confirmed some of the games already. Expect to see The Division, ARK: Survival Evolved, Doom, Dark Souls III, Battleborn, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, and Quantum Break, plus backward-compatible titles like The Witcher 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Counter-Strike: GO, and South Park: The Stick of Truth.
