Plus, a reminder that Ghostwire‘s on the way
We’re somehow already nearing the end of March, and Microsoft is lining up a few late-in-the-month additions to its Xbox Game Pass lineup. MLB The Show 23 is gearing up for spring training on the subscription service, and two RPGs are on deck with it.
Out today on Game Pass for cloud, console, and PC is Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom – The Prince’s Edition. This version includes all the DLC for the gorgeously styled RPG from Level-5. But did you really need selling like that? This is a game where you follow a young prince on his journey alongside the isekai’d president who has a sidearm on him. Seriously, the intro alone is worth trying out.
A new year also means a new MLB The Show, as the 23 version lines up for cloud and console Game Pass on day one, March 28. Extremely eager fans can also get in four days earlier with the Early Access Bundle, but either way, baseball’s back in business for the spring.
Infinite Guitars is the last reveal for today, and it’s an interesting title coming to cloud, console, and PC Game Pass day one on March 30. As a rhythm RPG, it’s already a bit different from the crowd. But Infinite Guitars will have you assemble a party of rockers to take on the war machines that have turned on humans. It’s John Connor-meets-Slash, and I’m interested.
That’s all for the late additions. Ghostwire: Tokyo‘s also planned, but that will hit Game Pass on April 12, next month. There are some games leaving at the end of March though, so if you want to finish them up, this weekend might be a good time.
