Will you survive with knowing Metal Gear Survive’s release date?

The game survived

[Update: As I noted in the post below, Konami conspicuously left out PC as a platform for Survive. That would be super odd seeing as how V came on on PC, but Konami has clarified that the game will be heading to Steam alongside the console release. I guess no pre-order bonuses, though (whoopie!).]

The last we heard of Metal Gear Survive, the game was being delayed into “early 2018” for some reason or another. Probably to fine tune the gameplay or add more microtrasnactions…who can say? What we now know is that the game actually hasn’t been cancelled. Metal Gear Survive will be releasing on February 20, 2018 for the US and February 22, 2018 in EU for PS4 and Xbox One (what about PC?!).

As you can see from the embedded tweet, you can pre-order the game for a bunch of useless crap that probably won’t amount to much. I will say that the “Kabuki Face Paint” looks pretty dope, but what about the campaign? We still don’t really know anything about Survive, but apparently it will be ready in four months.

Well, hopefully for anyone interested, this turns out well. I’m not expecting much from it, but Metal Gear Solid V had some fantastic controls and could easily be adapted into a co-op experience. I doubt Survive will live up to that, but there is always a chance.
