Which Agents should promote your store in Zenless Zone Zero?

Zenless Zone Zero doesn’t clearly state this, but the character you choose to use for store promotion does make a difference. Every day, you’re rewarded with a healthy amount of currency along with various other trinkets. However, depending on which character you use to do the promotion, you’ll get additional goodies to go along with the general.

The Agent you use to promote will reward you with specific materials toward that character’s typing. For example, if you use Anby to promote your store, you’ll receive Electric-based materials as a bonus on top of your standard set of earnings. So to answer this question directly: it depends on what elemental type of materials you’re looking for. You won’t get a ton of materials this way, but it’s enough to consider who to assign to promotion. The best part is this comes at no additional cost to you, so it is worth it.

How to unlock Agents to promote your store in Zenless Zone Zero

Early on, you’ll only have NPCs willing to promote your store in Zenless Zone Zero. However, you can unlock Agents to do the promotions, which is much more useful, as mentioned earlier. To do so, level the Trust of the Agents you are interested in. At some point during this process, that Agent will DM you asking for help finding a videotape. These scenarios become brief quests in your Schedule, so keep an eye out for them once they appear. Complete them, and you’ll be granted the ability to use that Agent in promotions.
