Find these nimble cryptids before they find you.

Besides the Mothmen, Wendigos are one of the most popular cryptids found in Fallout 76. They even have a boss variant known as the Wendigo Colossus which was introduced as the second boss event in the game. Wendigo screams can attract a swarm of feral ghouls making it easy for players to become overwhelmed. Whether you’re a cryptid hunter or need to knock out your Seasonal Challenges, here are the best places to find Wendigos in Fallout 76.

Where to find Wendigos in Fallout 76

Wendigos are often found alone, amongst a pack of feral ghouls, or in small packs of their own kind. Their claws can stagger even the bulkiest of Power Armor users, so use caution when encountering Wendigos.

Lewisburg

One Wendigo can be found in the 4-way intersection in the center of the town.

Wendigo Cave

A few Wendigos are guaranteed to spawn within the cave.

Abbie’s Bunker

Three Wendigos are found along the road south of the POI near the truck suspended by vines.

Pylon Ambush Site

One Wendigo is found near the wooden shack.

Freddy Fear’s House of Scares

A couple of Wendigos can spawn throughout the POI.

If you’re only looking to kill a single Wendigo to complete the Seasonal Challenge, the best locations are Lewisburg or Pylon Ambush Site since the Wendigo spawns of these POIs are close to the fast-travel points. Otherwise, the aptly named Wendigo Cave is an excellent location containing many Wendigos to slay.
