The elderly couple in the Iwatodai Strip Mall run a charming bookstore, and if you get to know them, you can start the Hierophant Social Link. However, before that can happen, the couple mentions something about a Persimmon Tree at Gekkoukan High School. That’s not a particularly wide area to search, but it’s not in the most obvious spot either.
You’ll find the Persimmon Tree in Persona 3 Reload in the “Corridor” section of the school. You can easily find this by pressing the L1 button to open your fast travel menu at the school, and selecting the Corridor option. Alternatively, you can warp immediately there from the city map.
From there, you’ll see an open grassy area that some students may be hanging around in. Walk to the tree in the middle of that section and examine it. This is the Persimmon Tree in question. After this, you can report back to the elderly couple and properly introduce yourselves.
Note that you will spend time once you return to them, so make sure you don’t have anything else you want to do that day. Additionally, you’ll learn a bit more about this particular Persimmon Tree as you go, so expect to see more of this fixture of the school as you play.
