The Silk Flower in Genshin Impact can be spotted in two different areas of Teyvat. They’re among the required ascension materials for characters like the book lover Xingqiu and funeral parlor director Hu Tao.

You can spot Silk Flower in Genshin Impact by heading to the Wangshu Inn area. It’s located within the Bushui Plain area within the Liyue region. Head west of the Mingyun Village and south of Dihua Marsh to find it. There are two main areas within this section. Near the inn, look for red bushes on the groundfloor outside.The Silk Flowers are harvested from these small red bushes.

Once you’ve spotted them all, head across the bridge, and you’ll find more Silk Flowers growing near the umbrellas and yellow plants of this section.

That’s not all, however. Fast travel to Liyue Harbor. Within the temple section west of the city, you’ll spot plenty of Silk Flowers to grab. This is where Madame Ping is located, and it’s near a waterfall. Go to the grassy spots, and you’ll find these pretty flowers. Most are nestled in nearby trees. Others are hiding behind rocks. It’s arguably easier than finding Sprayfeather Gills and Wolfhook.

Other ways to get Silk Flowers

Silk Flowers can be bought from three different shopkeepers in Liyue. Fengtai sells them at Yilong Wharf, Ms. Bai is at Qingce Village, and Verr Goldet is located in Wangshu Inn. Quiwei isn’t actually in Liyue but still sells Silk Flowers; she’s in Port Ormos in Sumeru. They’ll each have five Silk Flowers. You can buy this resource again three days later.

You can get Silk Flower seeds from Tubby’s Realm Depot in the Serenitea Pot and then plant them. You can only get five per week. You can also use the seed dispensary and gather them from the wild.

How many Silk Flowers do you need to ascend Xingqiu?

To ascend Xingqiu, you’ll need a total of 168 Silk Flowers, which is quite a lot. You’ll also have to get 46 Cleansing Hearts. You can get these by defeating the repetitive Rhodeia of Loch. This boss spawns annoying water-based enemies, some of which require you to have a ranged character like Venti. You’ll need to get the following as well:

• 1 Varunda Lazurite Sliver
• 9 Varunda Lazurite Fragments
• 6 Varunda Lazurite Gemstones
• 9 Varunda Lazurite Chunks
• 18 Damaged Masks
• 30 Stained Masks
• 36 Ominous Masks

The masks can be gathered by taking down hilichurls all across Teyvat. The Varunda Lazurite materials can be obtained by defeating the Hydro Hypostasis, Hydro Tulpa, and Rhodeia of Loch.
