Along with radroaches, mole rats are among the first creatures players encounter in any Fallout video game. In other games, these pests are usually seen during the first few levels and replaced with much more powerful creatures in later levels. However, in Fallout 76 there are over a dozen variants of mole rats and these enemies are often the targets for Daily and Weekly Challenges.

The two tried and true spots for farming mole rats are the Green Country Lodge and Welch Station points of interests (POIs) due to the spawns being easily accessible from their fast travel points.

These fellas can inflict deadly status effects with their attacks at later levels, so don’t hesitate to jump on top of nearby rocks or structures to stay out of their reach.
