Circuitry has many uses in Fallout 76 that set it apart from other crafting components. Besides being required for many of the advanced weapon mods, Circuitry is needed to repair mainframe cores in nuclear silos and has a commonly assigned Seasonal Challenge associated with it. While there are many ways to obtain Circuitry, this guide will focus on farming junk items that scrap into Circuitry so that you can knock out your Seasonal Challenge while stockpiling many components.
All items that scrap into Circuitry in Fallout 76
Item Name | Circuitry Yield |
---|---|
Assaultron Circuit Board | 1 |
Circuits | 1 |
Detonator | 2 |
Enhanced Targeting Card | 2 |
Flight Data Recorder | 1 |
Hot Plate | 1 |
Military-Grade Circuit Board | 2 |
Radio Jammer | 2 |
Scrap Assaultron Head | 3 |
Sensor Module | 5 |
Telephone | 1 |
Many junk items scrap into Circuitry but items such as Sensor Modules and Radio Jammers are hard to come by and aren’t considered efficient items to target for farming purposes. Telephones and Enhanced Targeting Cards are the easiest to farm since they are abundant in many locations.
The best farming locations for items that scrap into Circuitry
Abbie’s Bunker
This location stands out in this list since it is the only Point-of-Interest that contains a generous amount of the rarest junk items such as Sensor Modules and Military-Grade Circuit Boards. It’s a hot spot for many materials so you can expect it to be fully looted in most worlds. But with around 13 Circuitry worth of junk in an easy-to-access area, Abbie’s Bunker is worth checking out when farming Circuitry items.
Sugar Grove
Sugar Grove contains an assortment of valuable junk items which makes it an all-around efficient farming location. The location is occupied by robots who end up contributing to the junk item output of the farming run. You’ll find many Telephones in Sugar Grove to easily scoop up and scrap within a short timeframe thanks to the building’s simple layout.
Whitespring Resort
The Whitespring Resort has been one of the most popular farming locations in Fallout 76 since its launch. Whether it’s Blast Zone farming for flux and experience or grabbing the numerous junk items in the buildings littered around the resort, the Whitespring Resort still reigns supreme as the best general-purpose farming POI in the game. You can expect to find many Telephones in the main building along with the service and guest rooms surrounding it.
Harpers Ferry
The farming run at Harpers Ferry differs from the other locations in this list. Within this POI, there are four machine gun turrets in the city, six inside buildings at the armory, and more throughout the Burrows (the sewage system) underneath the city. Machine gun turrets drop Enhanced Targeting Cards which scrap into two Circuitry. 20 Circuitry worth of junk is obtainable by destroying turrets without getting your feet wet in the sewers.
The best part about this farming run is that the items coming from the turrets are corpse loot and aren’t loose spawns within the POI. This means you aren’t subject to the 250-item loot limit that tends to bottleneck world/container item farming runs.
National Isolated Radio Array
Similar to Sugar Grove, the National Isolated Radio Array is an excellent location for finding a multitude of Telephones and other junk items that are frequently needed to complete Seasonal Challenges. However, instead of robots, this area is infested with Super Mutants. I wouldn’t make this location a first choice when wanting to farm Telephones and other junk items, but that changes if you have any Super Mutant or weapon-scrapping Seasonal Challenges assigned to you.
