Finding and fighting Darth Vader is challenging, but the reward is worth it if you want to try out a cool new weapon.

Darth Vader location in Fortnite x Star Wars event

You’ll find Darth Vader in an Imperial Roadblock directly north of Lavish Lair. Alongside several Stormtroopers, you’ll see Darth Vader roaming around the camp, ready to fight any incoming threats. The best time to visit this location is at the beginning of a match, as it typically gets swept up in the storm quickly.

Fortunately, the camp has several chests to open, which typically hold E-11 Blasters and Wookiee Bowcaster guns that’ll help you during your battle against Darth Vader. You’ll also spot regular weapons around the island and a few treasure chests for extra loot. Make sure to prepare for the fight before targeting Darth Vader, as he has a few tricks up his sleeve that can catch you off guard.

More specifically, Darth Vader has several attacks he’ll use with his Lightsaber. In addition to standard melee attacks, he can pull you toward him and launch a series of attacks or throw his Lightsaber at you if you’re out of melee range. Stormtroopers and other players can also interrupt the fight, so watch your surroundings as you whittle down his health.

How to use Darth Vader’s Lightsaber

Once you defeat Darth Vader in battle, you’ll get his Lightsaber with the same abilities he used during battle. Your regular attack button will launch a series of combo attacks while holding your aim sights button lets you block any incoming attacks. If you’re holding down your block button, you can attack by throwing the Lightsaber, allowing you to hit players or NPCs out of melee range, much like Darth Vader did during your initial battle.
