Where to find cows in Hogwarts Legacy

This might be the goofiest guide I've written all year.

You can be mean to the cows in Hogwarts Legacy, flipping them with the fittingly named spell Flipendo. It’s optional, but you’ll have to do it 10 times if you want the Spilled Milk trophy or achievement.

Cows Hogwarts Legacy location

To find cows in Hogwarts Legacy, you’ll need to venture to the East Hogsmeade Valley. There’s a convenient Floo Powder location there. Fast travel to it, and then run towards the nearby shop indicated by the coins symbol on the map. It’s owned by Leopold Babcocke. He has the Sky Scythe Broom, ingredients, and combat tools like the Chinese Chomping Cabbage for sale.

Nearby this enterprise are brown cows that have their eyes covered by their hair. If you don’t see any, however, press the Wait button on the World Map menu to pass the time from day to night or night to day.

How to flip these cows

Thankfully, to get the Spilled Milk trophy in Hogwarts Legacy, you won’t need to flip over 10 different cows. You only need the one. Equip the Flipendo spell and then aim your cursor towards the mammal. Now, flip it with the encantation. Honestly, this seems like some sort of animal cruelty. There’s a cat you can pet nearby if you need some solace.

Keep casting the spell to flip it over and over again until you get the Spilled Milk trophy. Otherwise, it will start to run away.

You might feel bad about what you’ve done, but you can always finish some side quests to help you feel better. I recommend finishing the Musical Map quest.
