Citrine in Disney Dreamlight Valley location

Citrine in Disney Dreamlight Valley is spotted within the Glade of Trust and Sunlit Plateau. Get your royal pickaxe out and start bashing the rocks within these areas. Do this even if the rocks don’t have the gleaming gem poking out.

Make sure you get a friend who has the mining ability. They have a chance to give you more Citrine, and you can improve the friendship level with the character that tags along. New quests and items will unlock for you.

Remember that the Shiny Citrine does not apply to some quests you face. You’ll need the plain Citrine. It’s best to sell the Shiny Citrine for 1,520 Gold.

What is Citrine used for?

There are multiple ways that Citrine is used. First is the value of the gem. You can get 380 gold from it if you sell the Citrine to one of Goofy’s stalls. Additionally, you can craft the Round Lamppost with Orange Light and Round Orange Three-Pronged Lamppost. Third, Citrine can be a gift that you can provide to your Disney friends.

Lastly, Citrine is used with quests for Scar, Nala, Mother Gothel, and Mickey Mouse. You’ll need a total of seven for all of the applicable quests as of the time of writing.

You can also find Emerald in Disney Dreamlight Valley, which is slightly less valuable but is needed for the Memory Magnification quest. The Great Blizzard mission also needs a bunch of other gems. Also, making new dishes like Fish Pasta is a great way to make money.
