To give you the latest deets on this arrival, here’s when the new Warzone will come out in Black Ops 6.

Black Ops 6 Warzone release date

The Warzone and BO6 integration begins on Nov. 14, 2024. You’ll likely need to download a fairly sizeable patch for this upcoming update, so make sure to set aside some room in your storage. Pre-loads usually come out a few days beforehand to get you better prepared for its launch.

Once the integration is live, you’ll be able to explore the new Warzone map, Area 99, a fascinating locale that pays homage to the beloved Nuketown map. Venture deep into the Nevada desert to uncover the secrets of the Echo Ridge Weapons Station, the original testing site of Nuketown. It’s the perfect chance to uncover the truth about this famous town as you travel across the map’s multiple POIs.

You’ll encounter points of interest like the out in the open Cooling Towers, the Reactor center point, and the creepy Mannequin Assembly station. If you want to unearth the origins of Nuketown, head to the Warehouse (Factory) to see a familiar sign that any Call of Duty player would recognize.

Warzone’s Urzikstan and Rebirth Island will continue to set the stage in the BO6 integration. They’ll be available to play right alongside Area 99. Modes like Battle Royale, Resurgence, and Plunder are accessible here, with Ranked Play debuting in the midseason update.

The look and feel of Warzone will be much different compared to the older version. BO6’s Omnimovement and the Body Shield will now be accessible through this mode, offering much smoother movement and an additional offensive strategy. The previous Backpack system will also be removed, replacing it with the Inventory menu instead.

As part of these exciting changes, Season 1 will introduce new perks, empowering you to choose three abilities before each match. You can even place a Wildcard to gain a bonus skill, from Overkill to Gunfighter.

If you have Black Ops 6, you can start preparing for Warzone’s new gameplay with this entry’s current modes. You’ll get better accustomed to the latest perks and Omnimovement this way, but you can always wait around for the new release to stay on the free-to-play route.
