When does Dagath release in Warframe?

You don't really need that head, do ya?

Not content with 53 Warframes, Digital Extremes is adding another one to their space-ninja simulator Warframe. Dagath will be the 54th Warframe added to the game, ignoring Prime variants, of course. The design is very cool, going for a headless horsewoman vibe just in time for Halloween.

What is the release date of Dagath in Warframe?

Dagath will be released in Warframe on October 18th. She will be added to the game as part of the Abyss of Dagath update, along with plenty of other content. You can usually expect these updates to launch at around 13:00 CT. Dagath will release with her signature weapon, the Doorclave, a blade and whip. It’s a powerful option that will do guaranteed status procs after 20 kills or assists.

Dagath’s passive is the Abundant Abyss which allows her to feed on the souls of the dead. This will give her a low chance to buff Energy or Health orbs effectiveness by three. The Wild Scyth ability attacks enemies with spectral sickles that cause Viral damage. The second ability, Doom, conjures spectral energy from her faceless head that rapidly expands in a cone, inflicting low damage and cursing the enemies with Phantom Wrath.

The third ability, Grave Spirit, grants Dagath increased critical damage to all weapons and allows her to evade death by changing into a spectral form. Her final ability, Rakhali’s Cavalry, summons spectral steeds to ram into enemies, causing Viral damage.

What else are we getting?

As part of the update, a new Dojo room called Dagath’s Hallow is being released. This is a new Dojo room that holds the Shrine of Dagath, which will allow you to acquire Dagath’s Blueprints. It will also allow for the customization of your Kaithe (horse) outside of the Divuri Paradox.

Hydroid is getting reworked, as one of the least-liked Warframes for the community hopefully gets a new lease on life that involves more than just standing in the corner on resource farming missions. We’ll wait and see, but our hopes are high that the Davy Jones of Warframe will have a better place in the roster once the update is out.

There is also going to be some reworking of companions, from mods to removing the fact that they can die. Being reliant on your companion for your build to work can be very annoying in really late-game content, and the respawning nature of certain Infested pets has definitely caused a stagnant meta, so this is great news.

And those are just some of the changes you can expect on October 18.
