If you have booted up Marvel Rivals recently, around Christmas Eve to now, you may have seen a new message in your inbox talking about NGP. What is it?
We can explain all we know below.
What is NGP in Marvel Rivals?
NGP in Marvel Rivals is an optional newsletter program you can sign up for at no cost (other than time).
What it will entail includes things like keeping up with the latest patch notes for the game as they drop, along with “future benefits and privileges” to be announced.
How to sign up for NGP in Marvel Rivals
To sign up for NGP in Marvel Rivals, you can sign up with the in-game message given to you or you can go to neteasegamer.com and sign up there. However, you do need Marvel Rivals open to complete the sign-up process.
You can access the site by entering a password and using your email (one to which you’re okay with receiving a lot of promotional material).
You’ll then need to enter your User ID, which isn’t the display name you use for the game. Instead, you have to find your UID number, which can be located by clicking on your profile icon in the top right corner of the main menu in Marvel Rivals.
It’ll bring up your Career page. On the main page, you should find UID followed by a set of nine numbers. Enter that when prompted during the sign-up process.
Once you finish the back-and-forth sign-up process and verification, you should find a message in your Marvel Rivals inbox that says “NGP Membership Application: Email Bind”.
Once you finish that, you’re all set!
What do you get for signing up?
For now, there are no benefits. However, suppose it’s any indicator of other games in the NetEase games library like Identity V. In that case, there will be periodically free items and exclusive events held in the official game’s Discord.
Marvel Rivals already has a Discord channel if you had signed up previously. There, you’ll be able to learn more as time moves on.
There is no indication if you need to pay anything extra to receive any rewards.
