The Rush game mode will be a brand new entry to EA FC 25, and EA Sports has revealed little information about what the community can expect.
Some earlier rumors hinted that a new 5v5 mode was being designed for the upcoming video game. EA Sports revealed the first trailer for the game, and the official website also shared some vital information about the new game mode.
How will the 5v5 Rush mode work in EA FC 25?
Based on the official description available on EA’s website, the Rush mode is going to be embedded within existing modes. Hence, it won’t operate like the existing Volta mode in EA FC 24, which has a separate in-game section. Let’s take a look at how the upcoming 5v5 mode will work in EA FC 25:
- Ultimate Team Rush: Players will make a squad of five footballers, with each controlling their selection. Once the two teams are formed, ten individuals will contest in 5v5 matches for different rewards.
- Clubs Rush: The Clubs mode replaced the pro mode from older games, and you get to fulfill your dreams of becoming a professional footballer (albeit virtually). In Clubs Rush, you’ll only make teams with human players, and every win will earn you a victory point and increase your individual Rush rank. Your seasonal rank will then determine your rewards.
- Kick-off Rush: While the matches will be just like the Kick-off mode, the teams will have five footballers instead of the usual eleven. You can choose to play against AI or compete with and against your friends.
If EA Sports follows the pattern of last year, there will eventually be a detailed deep dive about the Rush mode in EA FC 25, which will likely showcase more details about this new game mode. I really think that this mode could be a big hit with the community. However, it would all come down to how well EA Sports manages to implement the game mode.
