Codemasters’ F1 23 is just around the corner, so it’s natural that a special edition called the F1 23 Champions Edition has been announced. Releasing alongside the game, it offers three days of early access and a ton of PitCoins at your disposal, in addition to other rewards. It does cost quite a bit more than the usual retail price, however.

Here’s everything you need to know about the F1 23 Champions Edition.

Priced at $79.99/£79.99 ($10/£10 cheaper for PS4 and Xbox One owners), the Champions Edition comes with a variety of digital content. Unfortunately, you can’t buy a physical version; it’s exclusively digital. Otherwise, the F1 23 Champions Edition includes:

  • Limited-time bonus: F1 23 Early Pre-Order Las Vegas Pack
  • Three days early access
  • Max Verstappen-designed racing in-game items
  • Four new My Team racing icons
  • Four Braking Point 2 My Team icons
  • Braking Point 2 customization items: casual and race wear in-game items
  • F1 World Bumper Pack
  • 18,000 PitCoin virtual currency to spend in-game

F1 23 is available on Steam, Epic Games Store, and EA Play. In fact, you can check out a 5-hour trial for the game on the latter service.

What is PitCoin?

PitCoin is F1 23‘s in-game currency. In F1 22, it’s used for buying the VIP Podium Pass. Costing 9,000 PitCoin, this “battle pass” gives you exclusive racing suits, car liveries, and victory radio calls, among other cosmetic items. Additionally, you can use PitCoin for other benefits in the Item Shop or Brand Shop.

Some of the victory poses are a bit wacky though.
