He’s laughing just thinking about it
Normally a celebrity event like this Mortal Kombat X launch tournament would be the sort of thing that makes my skin crawl. A slimy affair of glad-handing B-list celebrities on the downslope of their careers trying to appear relevant mixed with the video game industry’s cloying insistence on being recognized by Hollywood (an institution they claim to be in the process of burying). That’s a whole lot of desperation concentrated in one room.
However, Wayne Brady’s utter delight at taking a human life brought this one around for me. The surprisingly bloodthirsty Brady managed to eviscerate his way into the semi-finals of the tournament and later expounded on his love of bone-snapping and spine-cracking. It’s a little slice of heaven.
