War of the Vikings has been in its alpha phase for quite some time, but publisher Paradox has informed us that the game has now been upgraded to a beta. You’ll find new maps, modes and other extras accompanying this change, not to mention the fact that War of the Vikings is also free-to-play on Steam this weekend.
A ton of bugfixes have also been applied to the current build, so give it a go on Steam and see all of the changes for yourself.
