Overwatch 2’s 45th hero is Vendetta, the game’s first fully melee-based damage hero, and she’s got the big sword to prove it.
Vendetta, also known as La Lupa (the wolf), is a famous Italian gladiator from Colosseo, and she’s on a quest for revenge. Her father was betrayed by Talon and so she’s got the names of people like Doomfist, Widowmaker, Sombra, Moira, and more on a list she’s trying to cross off one by one.
Before Vendetta can get to her enemies, though, you need to figure out her kit and how to use it. Here’s everything we know about Vendetta’s abilities in OW2.

Vendetta launches alongside Overwatch 2 season 20 on Dec. 9, 2025, but gamers can try her out in a week-long playtest that begins on Nov. 26.
