Lest you lose them forever

Club Nintendo has been in the process of shutting down for six months now. All along the way, there have been trigger dates where it’s the last opportunity to do something or other. The last of those is upon us, and it’s time to use up any outstanding codes you have.

Today is the last day that Club Nintendo codes can be redeemed on the eShop. That goes for Wii, Wii U, and 3DS. When the clock strikes midnight, those codes go the way of Cinderella’s pumpkin carriage — suddenly useless.

Any stragglers redeeming their free games won’t quite be the last of Club Nintendo; the program still has some physical rewards to ship, which will be done by the end of September. After that, Club Nintendo rides off into the sunset.
