Idiot moron says something idiotically moronic

Many politicians will heavily imply that videogames are far more lethal than weapons designed to be lethal, but U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander has taken the idiot ball and ran for the hills with it clasped in his gnarled talons. He straight up said that games pose a greater threat than any firearm.

“I think videogames [sic] is a bigger problem than guns, because videogames affects [sic] people,” he said. “But the First Amendment limits what we can do about videogames and the Second Amendment to the Constitution limits what we can do about guns.”

The Republican Senator — a longtime ally of the pro-gun set — had nothing else to say on the matter. He didn’t seem to think it was important to say how, in his own slurred words, “videogames affects people,” nor did he see fit to suggest how a gun being shot at somebody doesn’t affect people.

Instead, he did what most idiot politicians do when talking about games, he just dribbled some baseless shit out of his slack, scabrous mouth because making socially irresponsible claims is apparently acceptable behavior.

Frankly, I think benighted, mercenary politicians are a bigger problem than games or guns, but sadly they never seem to be in the spotlight when this subject comes up.
