That’s a nice change of pace
It’s becoming a common trend that it requires an increasingly absurd PC to even think about running the latest triple-A games. Evolve is a slight reprieve from that. Prospective hunters won’t necessarily need the latest gear to embark on this monster raid, but they can’t come equipped with the equivalent of a BB gun either.
Turtle Rock Studio’s posted Evolve‘s recommended and minimum requirements on the game’s site. For an ideal experience, the developer advises your PC have:
Intel CPU: Core i7-920
AMD CPU: A8-3870K
System RAM: 6GB
Nvidia video card: GeForce GTX 670 or GTX 760
ATI video card: Radeon R9 280
Video memory: 2GB
Hard drive: 50GB
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Of course, everything’s dialed back a bit for the minimum requirements. The bare minimum to run Evolve is:
Intel CPU: Core 2 Duo E6600
AMD CPU: Athlon 64 X2 6400
System RAM: 4GB
Nvidia video card: GeForce GTX 560
ATI video card: Radeon HD 5770
Video memory: 1GB
Hard drive: 50GB
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
With regard to in-game adjustments, Evolve offers the ability to change texture detail, shader detail, model detail, shadow quality, particle quality, anti-aliasing, tessellation, VSync, and resolution from an in-game menu.
Turtle Rock also mentioned that 4K resolutions are supported right now. However, SLI and Crossfire are not supported, but the developer is working to integrate that as soon as possible.
