Tingle continues to tease with three creepy videos

Sorry guys, this post isn’t about Teaching Mrs Tingle, though that has its share of creepy teases as well. No, this news story is about Tingle of The Legend of Zelda series and Freshly-Picked Tingle’s Rosy Rupeeland infamy. Speaking of Freshly Picked, did you know it was never even released in the United States, despite being one of the most risky and hilarious games of 2007? As time goes on, it becomes ever more clear that Nintendo of Japan still loves making weird, semi-disturbing games, while Nintendo of America just doesn’t get it.

OK, enough pontificating from me, onto the news. The official Tingle-teaser site (for what is guessed to be a new Tingle DS game) has just updated with three new videos. They don’t tell us much, but they do show for sure that Tingle will be floating around with his signature balloon, holding hands with (gasp!) a female (or hopefully, a female impersonator), and will end up on some sort of road to somewhere at some point with some… things.

Hot news, right? Honestly though, all I really want to know is that this game will be released in English. Better yet, what are the chances of Beyonce representing this one in the States? Can you imagine commercials with her in a full Tingle outfit pretending to like videogames? Hell, if that’s all that happened in the entire game, it would still be worth $35.
