Latest Xbox One S deals roundup

Tuesday saw the release of the cheaper Xbox One S 500GB and 1TB models. Prices are a little lower than the 2TB Launch Edition which released earlier this month for $400 and bundled with no games. These newer models are priced at $349.99 and $299.99, and come with a game bundled in: the 1TB gets Madden NFL 17 and the 500GB receives Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

Discounts during release week aren’t happening, but the new consoles are not devoid of deals. Three bonus offers are well worth checking out on eBay Deals today. They mark the best offers to date for the new Xbox One S.

Xbox One S Deals

The first, and arguably the best, is the 1TB Madden NFL 17 Bundle with a bonus $50 eBay gift card. It’s the same $350 price as every other retailer online except here you’re getting a bonus $50 which is about enough to cover another game or controller.

The other two Xbox One S bundles are on Newegg’s eBay page and are priced slightly higher than the console bundles themselves but with more than enough in bonus games to make up for the price difference. In the case of the 500GB Halo Bundle you pay $29 more than the console costs elsewhere and get free copies of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate (uh, yay?), Fallout 4, and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. At their best prices online the bonus games add up to $72 in value.

The most expensive bundle to pop up is the 1TB Madden 17 Bundle priced at $370. That’s $20 more than the usual $350, but you get copies of Doom and The Witcher 3 thrown in, or about $68 in bonus games at their best prices online.

Personally if you’re looking for an Xbox One S, we’d just get the plain vanilla $350 bundle with the $50 gift card. Sell your copy of Madden NFL 17 if it’s not your forte and use the available funds to pick up games you’d actually want.
