Call of Duty: Black Ops II revealed its multiplayer this week with a new trailer, and you better believe that people on the Internet had opinions about it! There’s been a huge backlash against Call of Duty ever since Modern Warfare 3, and it’s more than visible in the comments section of the reveal trailer on Youtube.
Right now, there is an even split between those claiming the game is just the same old crap, and those saying there’s far too much new crap. The video — which has 48,577 Likes and 10,051 Dislikes — also has a lot of comments suggesting Treyarch ripped off Halo. Apparently, the move to a futuristic setting has made Black Ops II a carbon copy of Bungie’s shooter series.
There are plenty of people defending the game, too. Some of them are praising the new futuristic equipment, while ten billion comments trot out the old “You’re all going to buy it anyway” chestnut.
