Is this really a surprise?
With a supposed Netflix-style library of NES games coming to the Nintendo Switch online service next year, and the ever-looming thoughts of a Virtual Console for the handheld hybrid, it wouldn’t exactly be shocking to hear that an NES emulator was contained within the console.

According to Source Gaming, modders working on the Switch have already found one embedded in the firmware. It’s hard to say whether this is even true, so take it with a grain of salt.
