The Goonies ‘r’ Good Enough for LEGO Dimensions on May 9

Will we get to see One-Eyed Willy?

WB has announced that come May 9 of this year, you’ll be able to pick up three more LEGO Dimensions packs — The Goonies Level Pack (Sloth and Chunk), the Harry Potter Fun Pack  (Hermione), and the LEGO City Fun Pack (Chase McCain). Wait, Goonies?! I totally forgot that they were announced months ago, and now they have their own level pack, nonetheless.

I always loved the scene where Mikey meets Willy. It’s such an intimate part, especially when you’re a kid. It’s this eerie moment of a mutual, spiritual respect between a young boy and a dead pirate. When Sean Astin gasps after finally seeing him for the first time —  goosebumps.
