Relive Checkout and Drydock
Gears of War 4 developer The Coalition is wasting no time drawing from the legacy content well. Approximately a month after the game launched, the first two additional multiplayer maps will release — and they’re both fan favorites from Gears of War 3.
On November 8, maps Checkout and Drydock (videos below) will be added to the game’s free public playlists, available for all versus multiplayer and Horde mode. Anyone with the season pass can access them on November 1; the season pass also allows for these maps to be permanently played in private matches.
We can expect plenty more Gears of War 4 maps to be revealed over time. The Coalition has already said that there will be two free maps every month for a year. It’ll feel good to blast our way through a grocery store again, but it’d be nice to see something original sooner rather than later.
