As you are undoubtedly aware, there’s a new baby in the family. The third generation of Mr. Destructoid has entered into our lives, and you will shower it with all the love and attention that you gave its older brothers.
The OG Mr. Destructoid helmet, which shall henceforth be known as “MD Prime,” was raw and passionate — okay, it was a heap of metallic barf. For Dtoid 2: Electric Boogaloo, we required a more seasoned hand, thus we turned to Harrison Krix of Volpin Props. That was back in 2009, and Harrison’s work has served us well since then. Now its time to step up the game!
For D3: The Mighty Ducks, we asked Harrison to go balls to the wall and blow his creative juices all over our faces. We wanted something harder, better, faster, stronger, and the man delivered. The new helmet is so space-age that you can make the damn eyeballs sing and dance. That’s quacktastic!
Harrison once again chronicled the construction process, so please visit his page and read up on all the blood and sweat and semen he spilled to make this magic happen.
