Remember Disney’s D23 Expo? It seems like it was a long time ago, but it’s really just a month in the past. Also, it wasn’t in a galaxy far, far away; it was in California — the land of almonds which require a gallon of water per nut, and crippling droughts.
#AlmondFacts aside, one of the cooler things to come out of D23 was the reveal of the Darth Vader PS4 Star Wars Battlefront bundle. Lookie, Darth’s iconic helmet is emblazoned right across the top of that thing. Cue up Whitesnake’s “Here I Go Again” because this has Project Badass written all over it.
Amazon just opened pre-orders for this special edition console, which costs $450. It comes with the PS4, a special DualShock 4 controller with white sticks and red buttons, a copy of Star Wars Battlefront, and a voucher for four classic remastered Star Wars titles. Those games are Super Star Wars, Bounty Hunter, Jedi Starfighter, and Racer Revenge.
This isn’t ready to ship yet, hence the “pre-order” bit. It releases on November 17 when Battlefront hits shelves. But, you can secure your spot in the e-line if you so choose.
