After knocking it out of the park with Bastion and Transistor, Supergiant Games has revealed its third project, simply titled Pyre. Not content with a mere set of screenshots, there’s a full trailer available ahead of the game’s debut at PAX East this weekend.

A brief story description states: “At the beginning of the game, your luck has almost run out when several masked wanderers find you and revive you from the brink. With your help, they seek to learn the truth about the Rites, a secretive competition through which the worthiest exiles can return home, absolved of their transgressions.”

It looks like it has adventure elements as well as top-down action, focusing on a tribal theme of sorts with creatures and lots of bone-like imagery. It’s set for a 2017 release, and PS4 and Steam were mentioned specifically in the announcement. Both platforms will hit simultaneously.
