Apparently high-definition remakes are the new Mega Man as Capcom is releasing yet another of its ancient (and ridiculously awesome) Street Fighter titles with improved graphics specifically for the new-gen content delivery services inherent in the Xbox 360 and PSTriple.

According to Capcom USA’s official blog, the company that Ryu built will be releasing Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix on the XBLA and PSN next month, and I couldn’t possibly be more excited. As SPF2T was the first title to successfuly integrate my two greatest loves (Capcom fighters and Puyo Puyo rip-offs), I’m tremendously excited about this release. In fact, upon hearing the news, I sprinted across my hardwood floor, tail flailing in the air, and I managed to pee all over the place. Also, I somehow became a golden retriever puppy. Capcom, do you see what you do to me?

I'm Nex. I used to work here but my love of cash led me to take a gig with Wired. I still keep an eye on the 'toid, but to see what I'm really up to, you should either hit up my Vox or go have a look at the Wired media empire.
