[Destructoid’s Director of Communications Hamza Aziz asked Jonathan Holmes to make a show called ‘Sup, Holmes?‘ so that Destructoid could later sell a t-shirt that says ‘Sup, Holmes?’ on it. This is that show. Download the audio-only podcast version, subscribe to the podcast feed and find more episodes here.]

Happy April Fools everybody! We’ve got Jools Watsham from Rendegade Kid (Mutant Mudds, Dementium)on the show today! No Joke!

We’re going to talk about the struggles and triumphs of being a 3rd party developer on Nintendo consoles, his upcoming eShop title Bomb Monkey, what it was like to turn a polygon-based retail DS game into a retro platformer for the eShop, the PitchWinPlay initiative (which lets fans pitch game ideas to Renegade Kid for potential development), that Blacula game he was going to make, and much more.

Tune into the show at 1pm PST/4pm EST and get in on the chat! Pitch us some games! We might just get them made.
