Starfield mod says ‘screw it,’ gives you all perks and max level

Why bother grinding?

Today is officially Starfield Day. Those who have been paying even the slightest bit of attention will have seen the sheer amount of mods that have been coming out even before Bethesda’s new game was properly released. Now there’s one available that’s very much for those who don’t want the grind.

Over on Nexus Mods, user ADITYAPAT86 has created and uploaded a very simple script for Starfield that saves all that levelling-up nonsense. By installing this mod, you’ll be granted every single perk in the game, as well as having your character’s level set to 328.

Now, while it does say that this mod maxes out your level, some of you will be quick to point out that Starfield apparently doesn’t have a level cap. Still, being bumped up to 328 without doing anything is definitely a leap!

All Starfield but without all that work

You might question why someone would want to skip past all the necessary work needed to advance in a role-playing game, but that’s the modding community for you. Already we’re seeing hundreds of custom mods for Starfield coming out in quick succession. More are definitely on the way, especially now that the game is out fully.

Very much like it has been with Skyrim, there are going to be so many people who won’t want to play the vanilla version of Bethesda’s space-faring RPG. Perish the thought! With that in mind, it’s only a matter of time until someone blends the sci-fi aesthetic of Starfield with the fantasy lore of The Elder Scrolls. Quick, write that down!
