Well well, look who up and decided that rumble/force feedback was good idea after all. Sony has sent word that not only are they updating Gran Turismo HD on the PlayStation 3 for free with new features, but they’re also adding force feedback compatibility. Check out the details on this:

Gran Turismo HD Concept v. 1.2 (free update): Developed by Polyphony Digital, Gran Turismo HD Concept delivers an unparalleled racing experience in full HD 1080p* resolution with next-generation graphics and physics. Race ten cars from worldwide manufacturers, including the Gran Turismo debut of Ferrari. This updated version enables you to view the Top 10 worldwide rankings for each car and mode. Also, Gran Turismo HD Concept now is fully compatible with force feedback via Logitech®’s Driving Force, Driving Force Pro, and Driving Force EX steering wheels.

How long do you think it’ll be before we see that SEVENAXIS with rumble? I give it a year, at the most. More important PlayStation Store news after the jump, including GTA IV news.
