Japanese fashion label Onitsuka Tiger has revealed a small line of sneakers designed in collaboration with Street Fighter V. The very limited edition footwear will have a run of only 5,000 pairs.

The kicks are reminiscent of the classic trainers worn by Chun-Li when she’s rocking her bodysuit look. Based on Onitsuka Tiger’s Mexico SD 66 range, the new shoes come in two colour styles: White x ASICS Blue and an inverted Acid Yellow style. Video game-themed footwear doesn’t always work out for the better, but I think these look pretty slick. Not for me, mind, but for trendy people.

As a bonus, each pair comes with a code to download an exclusive Onitsuka Tiger skin for Chun in Street Fighter V. So next time you’re online and fighting The Strongest Woman in the World, if she’s rocking these kicks, then you know your opponent likes to spend big money on their footwear, I guess.

The Onitsuka Tiger x Street Fighter shoes will be made available at official outlets worldwide on July 27. Unsurprisingly, they will set you back a cool ¥18,000, or around $160. Street Fighter V is available now on PS4 and PC.
