During the scheduled AMA – held on Reddit between Skybound CEO Ian Howe and fans of Telltale Games’ ill-fated series The Walking Dead – Howe stated that Skybound is looking to bring back all released staff members to help completion of The Final Season.

“The plan is for it to be staffed 100% by former Telltale staff,” stated Howe in Tuesday’s Q&A session. “We’ve been in contact with most, if not all of them in one way or another. I met most of them personally last week… great bunch of people and it was great fun chatting with them about how we can get the show back on the road”.

Howe also admitted that it wasn’t as simple as just getting the crew to roll up, for a short period of time, at the exact same time. “It’s unfair to ask someone to come back and do a couple of weeks work, especially if that would get in the way of another job offer, so this is just one example of some of the challenges we face.” Howe also noted that the distance between the Telltale and Skybound studios was “not a commute that would be practical”, but that all of these challenges were being looked into.

Regarding the final two episodes, Episode 3: Broken Toys and Episode 4: Take Us Back, no information was available regarding the release. It seems a safe bet to suggest that neither episode will meet its originally scheduled date.
