Even though Valentine’s Day has come and gone, The Sims 4’s upcoming content will certainly get you in a lovey-dovey mood. The roadmap seeks to revitalize its romance features and the now iconic Woohoo. Here is all the future content expected for Sims 4 Season of Love, including our predictions of what they could entail.  

All upcoming features in Sims 4 Season of Love

The Sims 4 Season of Love is scheduled to blossom between May and August, as officially announced on The Sims TikTok page. During this period, you can look forward to the following exciting content:

• 1 “flirtatious” Expansion pack
• Riviera Retreat kit
• Cozy Bistro kit
• 2 Free “stylish” updates

The “Destination kits” mentioned in the announcement have been revealed, showcasing the debut of Riviera Retreat and the Cozy Bistro. Riviera Retreat offers various pool furniture to dip your toes into, such as new archways, waterfalls, and stucco textures. The artwork also gives us a sneak peek into these latest features, including a fancy hangout area for the poolside.

The other kit showcases your new favorite hangout spot with the hole-in-the-wall bistro. If you want to set a romantic scene, this area should definitely be on your radar. It’s designed for bar and lounge-type lots, which can be customized with the kit’s item collection. Decorations like the bistro table and vintage wall patterns will go perfectly with the Cozy Bistro’s theme.

The Cozy Bistro and Riviera Retreat kits will be released on May 30, 2024, across all available platforms. So, make sure to visit the Gallery around this time.

Although the rest of the roadmap remains a mystery, many Simmers believe that the Sims 4 Season of Love is a nostalgic nod to the franchise’s original Hot Date expansion pack. This groundbreaking addition introduced the concept of location visits, a feature that has evolved significantly in the fourth installment. The latest news has sparked speculation among fans, with some already dubbing the next EP as Sims 4 Hot Date 2. Personally, I’m crossing my fingers for the return of the heart-shaped hot tub.

Fans still hope to see hotels added to the game, which would be perfect for romantic getaways. Online dating could be another feature added, but we’ll have to see what happens in the coming months.
