An early level in Super Marios Bros. Wonder, Scram, Skedaddlers is one of the first ones where it’s easy to miss a secret element or two. So let’s take a look at how to find every secret in Scram, Skedaddlers. Check out the contents below if you know what you’re missing.
Scram, Skedaddlers – 10-Flower Coin 1
There’s a lot of chasing in Scram, Skedaddlers as some pesky chipmunks run away from you and fire nuts that cause damage. The first two chipmunks in the level are generic enemies. However, the third has a 10-Flower Coin floating above its head.
To get the coin, you need to chase the chipmunk (hold “Y” to sprint) and corner it. Once it’s stuck, you can kill it by first jumping on the red Koopa Troopa and then firing its red shell. The shell will kill the chipmunk and collect the coin for you.
Scram, Skedaddlers – 10-Flower Coin 2
After collecting the first coin, the red shell will have demolished the yellow object blocking the red pipe. You can squish down this pipe to collect the second Flower Coin.
As the coin is quite high up, you’ll need to kill the chipmunk first. Once it’s dead and buried, you can reach the coin by sprinting from the furthest corner of the room and jumping before the incline. Once you have it, head back up the pipe.
Scram, Skedaddlers – 10-Flower Coin 3
The third coin is stuck behind one of the yellow barrel-like objects pictured above. There are two options to break the barrel. You can either lure the chipmunk into firing a nut at it, or the safer option is to kill the Koopa Troopa and send the red shell the chipmunk’s way.
This will take care of the chipmunk and open up the corridor to the last coin.
Scram, Skedaddlers – Wonder Flower and Seed Location
Like many levels you’ll play in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, the Wonder Seed in Scram, Skedaddlers is hidden behind a Wonder Flower. The Wonder Flower, like the first coin, is floating above the head of a chipmunk, so you’ll need to catch it or at least jump onto the Wonder Flower to unlock the secret level.
Once you’re inside the secret level, you have to, once again, catch one of those blasted chipmunks. It has the Wonder Seed floating above its head, and it won’t get trapped as easily as the others. To make matters worse, there’s a timer, so you have to be quick.
You can use the invincible stars that are raining down to ignore all of the enemies and objects on the way, so just focus on being quick. When you get close enough, you can run right through the chipmunk to kill it with the invincibility power and earn the Wonder Seed.
If you fail this portion of the level, you can come back to it and try again later.
