Shoot. I thought this was the last time we’d need to run one of these vague pre-announcement stories on Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, but such a product has not yet been unveiled. Today, Kotaku received the above photo of a poster seemingly teasing some sort of reveal for the next game from Treyarch and Activision.
Presumably, May 2, 2012 is when we’ll find out if this project is what it increasingly appears to be, followed by more details a month later during E3. My guess is another one of those teaser videos that always seem to kick off the marketing campaigns.
Realizing that the next game attached to the Call of Duty brand will bring in an obscene amount of money, it almost feels wrong to be this apathetic. Guess that’s why I have you lovely folks.
